OXYGEN CLUBFALL REGISTRATION

Hello Homestead Families.

We’re excited and thrilled to announce Pinecrest Premier Soccer Club will be coming to Homestead for the Fall – 2023 “REC” Soccer Season.

DUE DATE:
Early registration Opens July 1st, 2023. Registration Closes August 28th, 2023. (Note: Credit Card must be provided in order to register & secure a spot and/or a team, credit cards will only be processed and charged when the practices/season actually kicks off.)
PRACTICE:
Practices to start on September 11th, 2023 at Keys Gate Charter Highschool .
GAMES:
Games to commence on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Keys Gate Charter Highschool: 2325 SE 28th Ave, Homestead, FL 33035.
SEASON:
Season runs from September 11th through November 18th 2023.

OXYGEN CLUBADDITIONAL INFORMATION

INFO PERTAINING TO THE PPSC REC PROGRAMS:
  1. Practice and Game venues are held at Keys Gate Charter Highschool .
  2. Practices to take place on Monday-Thursday in 45-minute durations. Two time slots available: 4:00 and 5:00 PM.
  3. Two (2) sessions per week minimum (1 practice and 1 game).
  4. Balls, bag, cones & scrimmage vest supplied for team practice equipment.
  5. Games will be played on Saturday mornings/early afternoons with some games potentially played on Friday evenings subject to approval by PPSC and COH.
  6. Game uniforms and practice jerseys included.
  7. Each team formed must have a parent volunteer as the designated coach; coaching voucher providing a “Free Registration” for coach’s son or daughter.
GAMES/COMPETITION:
  1. 4v4 format (No players are allowed in the goal box when team is defending)
  2. 40-minute games (4 x 10-minute quarters) with centrally controlled timekeeping
  3. 50% Rule – All players on the roster must play at least 50% of the game time
  4. Midfield build out line on all Goal Kicks
  5. Kick-ins for U5 and U6 and Throw-ins for U7 and above
  6. Game times: 09:00, 10:15, 11:30, 12:45 and 2:00 PM
  7. Crossover games are possible, whereby teams can play vs an older age team, hence U5 vs U6 games can be scheduled
  8. League operates without keeping any records, scores, results or standings
TEAM ORGANIZATION & FORMATION:
  1. Maximum of 8 players which allows for 50% rule to be easily achieved
  2. One parent volunteer to coach or assist with coaching duties at practices and games
  3. One Team Representative (manager/liaison) to create group/team chat for weekly communications from directors
  4. Siblings can participate on same team up to 2-year age difference maximum, subject to parents and directors’ approval
