OXYGEN CLUBFALL REGISTRATION

Hello Pinecrest Premier Soccer Club Families. We hope you’re safe & well.

We’re excited and thrilled to announce the start of our Fall – 2023 “REC” Soccer Season. To sign up, please click the registration button and have your corresponding credit card information ready.

Below you’ll find useful program information and our proposed schedule for the Fall “REC” Soccer League. We look forward to seeing you on the pitch.

DUE DATE:
Early registration Opens June 19th, 2023. Registration Closes August 4th, 2023. (Note: Credit Card must be provided in order to register & secure a spot and/or a team, credit cards will only be processed and charged when the practices/season actually kicks off.)
PRACTICE:
Practices to start on Monday, August 28th, 2023 at Pinecrest Community Center.
FIRST MEETING:
First coaches/team meeting to take place on Saturday, August 26th, 2023
GAMES:
Games to commence on Saturday, September 9th at Evelyn Greer Park, Palmetto Middle School, or another Village of Pinecrest Park (Friday night games are possible subject to the scheduling approval by the Village or Pinecrest)
GAME TIMES:
9-AM, 10:15-AM, 11:30-AM, 12:45-PM, & 2:00-PM.
SEASON:
The season runs from August 28th through October 28th with a makeup game date on November 4th.

OXYGEN CLUBADDITIONAL INFORMATION

INFO PERTAINING TO THE PPSC REC PROGRAMS:
  1. Practice and Game venues may include Pinecrest Community Center, and/or other facility approved and provided by PPSC and/or VOP.
  2. Practices to take place on Monday-Thursday in 45-minute durations. Due to daylight savings there are only two time slots available: 4:00 and 5:00 PM.
  3. Two (2) sessions per week minimum (1 practice and 1 game).
  4. Balls, bag, cones & scrimmage vest supplied for team practice equipment.
  5. Games will be played on Saturday mornings/early afternoons with some games potentially played on Friday evenings subject to approval by PPSC and VOP.
  6. Game uniforms and practice jerseys included.
  7. Each team formed must have a parent volunteer as the designated coach; coaching voucher providing a “Free Registration” for coach’s son or daughter.
GAMES/COMPETITION:
  1. 4v4 format (No players are allowed in the goal box when team is defending)
  2. 40-minute games (4 x 10-minute quarters) with centrally controlled timekeeping
  3. 50% Rule – All players on the roster must play at least 50% of the game time
  4. Midfield build out line on all Goal Kicks
  5. Kick-ins for U5 and U6 and Throw-ins for U7 and above
  6. Game times: 09:00, 10:15, 11:30, 12:45 and 2:00 PM
  7. Crossover games are possible, whereby teams can play vs an older age team, hence U5 vs U6 games can be scheduled
  8. League operates without keeping any records, scores, results or standings
TEAM ORGANIZATION & FORMATION:
  1. Maximum of 8 players which allows for 50% rule to be easily achieved
  2. One parent volunteer to coach or assist with coaching duties at practices and games
  3. One Team Representative (manager/liaison) to create group/team chat for weekly communications from directors
  4. Siblings can participate on same team up to 2-year age difference maximum, subject to parents and directors’ approval
