February 8, 2012 - Pinecrest Premier Soccer Club proudly announces that it has come to an agreement to form an alliance with Soccer Academies of America (Real Madrid). "Miami Elite Futbol Club" will be the name of the new alliance and the focus and attention will be centered on providing the players of both clubs the opportunity to participate in events, tournaments and any other areas that will enable the players from both clubs the opportunity to showcase their abilities. The alliance will not only benefit the boys side, but we expect to deliver the same promise and opportunities for the girls as well. Looking ahead we will look to strengthen the alliance by bringing in other interested clubs as well. We believe this alliance will create an exciting atmosphere and environment for all the players and give them more incentive and ways to challenge themselves to be better, and to know that there is a higher level available for them.
We want to express and make it perfectly clear that this is not a merger between both clubs; it is with the understanding that both Pinecrest Premier and SAA will run their clubs as normal and independent of each other. It will not have any effect on any players currently playing with their respective clubs. Although Pinecrest Premier and SAA are relatively young clubs, they both have emerged as clubs that have demonstrated throughout the years that they are highly competitive and sound, and this merely is another example of what we feel is the right decision moving forward. In order for our players to excel and to compete against other players, teams, States, and Regions around the country, we must prepare and position ourselves to meet the growing challenges that we all face.
